Reginald van de Veld, born in Belgium in 1975, is a chronicler of forgotten magnificence. Escapism is at the very heart of his work. In a world that’s too chaotic and fast-paced the artist tries to find solitude and peacefulness. Forgotten places and remote locations prove to be the perfect oasis for such reflection. The artist captures the momentum of splendor still undisturbed by the turmoil and temptations of modern society. His work is a manifesto of the momentariness of things.
Reginald’s photography has been exhibited internationally in both solo and group expos, including The Saatchi Gallery (UK), The Art & Science Museum (Singapore), Backlight Photo Festival (Finland), New York Photo Festival (USA), Siena International Photography Festival (Italy), The Somerset House (UK), National Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art (Seoul), National Gallery of Victoria (Australia) and the Cannes Lions International Festival (France).  His work has been awarded numerous times: Winner at the Life Framer World Travelers (USA), winner at the Grand Prix de la Découverte (France), winner at the Cannes Lions International Festival (France), finalist at the World Photography Awards (UK), winner Moscow International Photography Awards (Russia), and winner of the Grand Prix at the Seoul International Photography Festival (South-Korea).    Selected publications include National Geographic Magazine, Esquire Magazine, Wired, Aesthetica Magazine, Vanity Fair, Condé Nast, Forbes, BBC, The World Photography Book and the Ruin & Redemption in Architecture Book to name but a few.   “Between Nowhere & Never” is the title of Reginald’s first coffee table book – the epitome of ten years of photography. PRINTING

The Debut Collection features museum-quality Fine Art Giclée Prints, available as Open Editions. Locally printed and framed in the US, UK or in Europe, each print is crafted on heavy matte 310 gsm Fine Art matte paper using archival inks. Every artwork is uniquely made-to-order.

GICLÉE PRINT ON 310 GSM FINE ART MATTE PAPER

The Timothée Damas prints are crafted on state-of-the-art 310 gsm Fine Art matte paper, a premium substrate renowned for its exceptional color reproduction and texture. They are presented in a classic frame with or without a 2-inch (5cm) passe-partout in a classic white, encircling the edges of the photograph. The customer can chose between FULL BLEED, PASSE-PARTOUT and NO FRAME:

FULL BLEED:

The FULL BLEED image extends all the way to the edges of the printed paper without any borders and the image will appear to seamlessly extend to the edge.

PASSE-PARTOUT:

A passe-partout, also known as a mat or matting, is a classic framing technique. It is a flat, or also a cardboard border that surrounds the image within a frame.

Sizes COMPACT-CLASSIC feature a traditional cardboard border (1.4 mm white), while the larger sizes GRAND-GALLERY employ a flat white border as a framing technique.

NO FRAME:

For personalized framing preferences, the NO FRAME option is available, complemented by a 2-inch (5cm) white border.

These frames add an extra 18mm layer of depth between the artwork and the acrylic glass, elevating the photographic presentation to a different level. This framing technique is widely favored by photographers, galleries, and designers for its unique and captivating appeal.

The selected hardwood frames are available in matte black, matte white, and a natural oak wooden finish. Each frame is handcrafted and equipped with a sheet of 3mm UV-blocking acrylic glass, ensuring the protection and preservation of the artwork. Additionally, Timothée Damas is providing easy-to-use hanging hardware, D-Rings & String fort the sizes COMPACT - GRAND and square brackets for the sizes SIGNATURE - GALLERY.
