"OLIVE GROVE"
Our first location of the day was a mansion boasting breathtaking 360-degree views, currently inhabited by Syrian refugees both inside and around it. The expansive old home featured a distinctive external staircase, serving as our gateway to the top floor through a grand exterior door.
Constructed by feudal lords in the aftermath of the 'Peasants' Rebellion' in Lebanon in 1859, this mansion holds historical significance. Following the expulsion of feudal lords from Mount Lebanon, members of the Khazen family ventured to the North to reconstruct their magnificent residence, still recognized by the family name, along with the hill it proudly stands upon.
Capturing the essence of this architectural gem posed an intriguing challenge. I carefully positioned my tripod to complement the unique features of the mansion, ensuring that each image paid homage to its rich history and design.
